Wee Target Hits the Spot for Toilet Hygiene

An Australian product is poised to end toilet hygiene problems for parents of boys in the UK and Europe. Lifestyle product provider ETG Europe (http://www.etgeurope.com ) is introducing the ‘Wee Target’, a plastic target to put inside the lavatory bowl. Covered in heat-sensitive black ink, which vanishes when hit to reveal one of a range of pictures, it teaches little boys how to stay on target when using the toilet. This in turn keeps the surrounding area free from wee.

Toilet training troubles are more common for boys, who have to master not only going to the bathroom by themselves, but also how to stand and aim. Too often boys get distracted and hit the lid, the floor or even the wall, leading to messy bathrooms and upset parents. Wee Targets can overcome aim problems by making it fun, and help young boys to focus.

Peter Lamb, ETG Europe co-founder, says: “If keeping the toilet clean and hygienic is driving you potty, give Wee Target a try. Having a four year old myself, I’ve seen first hand how introducing target practice encourages boys to use the toilet - and improves their aim.”

The targets come in a range of designs, including footballs, trains and trucks, and are reusable, lasting up to six weeks. Easily secured with a suction cup, they sit out from the side of the toilet wall and are cleaned with every flush. The cold water reactivates the heat sensitive ink, covering the image ready for the next use and teaching toddlers to flush.

Wee Target has found a sizeable niche in schools across the UK where they are being successfully used to keep boys toilets wee free. Wee Targets are a cheap, easy and successful option. Each target costs just £2.50, with packs of three priced at £7.50, and packs of five priced at £12.00. Education pricing is even cheaper.

Furthermore, any image or logo can be printed on the target for large orders, making Wee Target ideal for businesses wanting to attract the attention of big and small boys alike. Breweries can place branded targets in pub loos; sports clubs can cover them with their logos; and the targets offer schools and youth clubs an unusual way to get a message across. The targets are adjustable for different toilet types and sizes.
